The Titleist AP2 716 is the forged tour performance iron of Titleist's 2016 AP range and it combines the look and feel of a players' iron with a surprising amount of forgiveness. The head is forged from 1025 carbon steel for a soft solid feel and uses a dual cavity design with high density tungsten weighting placed in the heel and toe of the long and mid irons. This raises moment of inertia and lowers the centre of gravity so the longer clubs launch higher and stay stable on off centre hits while the short irons remain compact with a precise shape for control into the green. A thin topline moderate sole width and minimal offset give the clean look better players prefer at address. This set comprises the 5 7 9 PW and GW fitted with KBS Tour regular flex steel shafts and suits mid to low handicap players looking for a forged Titleist set at a great price.
